Graham Hawkins has been appointed to the newly-created position of Sales Director at Hampshire Plant & Access (HPA) in a move which highlights the continued expansion of the company.
He will be responsible for driving revenues across HPA’s three locations in the South – Winchester, Southampton and Salisbury – for both plant and powered access equipment hire and sales. The company has a fleet of over 550 machines, together with an extensive range of powered access equipment, excavators, telescopic handlers, dumpers and other plant.
Since being acquired by AFI in 2015, HPA has benefited from a £1 million fleet investment programme, and further investment is planned this year.
Graham’s new position marks his return to the industry after an absence of a year when he was Head of Sales for a manufacturer of road marking materials.
Before that he had nine years with A Plant, including five years as Sales Director, and six years with Hewden’s as Sales Manager.
He said: “I’m delighted to be back in the industry – I’ve missed it. HPA has a reputation for the quality of their equipment, product range and excellent customer service, which is something to be proud of. It’s an opportunity I couldn’t resist.”
